28th of November We had a successful book presentation at Petőfi Literature Museum in Budapest. Wagner Nándor the Philosopher Sculptor by Wehner Tibor was presented to the large audience. In the author's speech the return to the Hungarian art life by this book has been emphasized. Also the video interview of late Magdolna Supka art historian Wagner's contemporary about the sculptor was shown.

17th of October. Disfigure Some illegal non-ferrous metal collectors made a serious damage to Garden of Philosophy on the Gellert Hill Budapest. The group of statues was to celebrate the fifth anniversary just next day. Five bronze segment of the circular base were stolen. The police started ivestigation. The 5 central figures were removed for reinforced placement later this year.  Picture report about the demage.

28th of September The 230 page monography titled Wagner Nándor - The Philosopher Sculptor written by Tibor Wehner art historian just has been published by Holnap Publishing Co., Ltd. in Hungary.

11th of September H.E. Kono Yohei the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Japanese Diet during his official visit to Hungary looked up Garden of Philosophy with his delegation. At the group of statues by Nándor Wagner carrying the message "for better mutual understanding" he was warmly welcomed by an old aquaintance Mr. Sandor Kiss the president of Academia Humana.

29th of August - 12th of September This year the Summer Camp for School of Nagybánya (Nagybánya Tájképfestő Telep) was organised for the 11th year. 15th October - 15th November Autumn Exhibition in Mashiko. Thema: statues of the Garden of Philosophy. On the invitation card Ehnaton has been printed. The pharao lived and ruled in the XIVth century BC. Monotheism was established by him - to respect Aton. He has several name in history books: Amenhotep the IVth, Ehnaton, Akhnaton, Ikhnaton, Akhenaton.

30th - 31st of July The winners of the "Japan and US" junior high school competition visiting Mashiko. The competition was organised last year commemorating 2005 the year of Japan EU Cultural Exchange in Siofok, Hungary. They had a chance to see the Wagner Collection in the Art Gallery and enjoyed a journey to Nikko as part of the first price. Report on the competition

1st of May Wagner Nándor Prizes were given to the winners of competiton among commercial graphics students of the Partium Christian University in Oradea (Nagyvárad) for the first time. This year competiton was titled "Girl with water jar" a fountain composition made by Nándor Wager. 28 works were submitted. Winners: 1. Mr. Előd Izsák - 2. Mr. László Mohácsi - 3. Mr. Károly Szabó

15th April - 14th May The Spring Exhibition of Nándor Wagner's works has been opened. Thema: Laotse and Laotse terracotta sketch variations.

March Announcement. The manuscript of Nándor Wagner monograph has been submitted to the print shop. The book titled The Philosopher Sculptor was written by Tibor Wehner art historian. The cover of the book is based on the composition Mother Earth (our picture was shot in the Tochigi Prefectural Art Museum, Utsunomiya).

February We have received a nice winter photo from Ms. Ingela Jarlsson art teacher of the Löberöd Ölyckeskolan (Löberöd School) . This fountain made by Nándor Wagner was moved from a closed clinic in nearby Eskön to the school.

15th of January Our Century (Századunk) In this TV programme the 1956 "Competition for Fountain on the Danube shore" has been recalled with film news and discussion. The 1st Price had been given by the jury to sculptor Nándor Wagner and architect Zoltán Farkasdy. Due to the revolutionary events this statue was not placed said Tibor Wehner art historian.

8th of January - Oradea The Academia Humana Foundation has been decorated for their activity by the title For the Public Good. The certificate was handed over by Bishop László Tőkés to Sándor Kiss president of the foundation at the New Year Ceremony. A standing clip from Duna TV News.
